Always vape within the manufacturer’s recommended power range.
Ensure you have an appropriate amount of e-liquid in your tank or clearomizer. If you don’t have enough e-liquid for the wick to absorb, you may get a burnt taste from the e-cigarette when you try to vape. Most cartomizers have a line designating how much e-liquid you can fill it with; don’t fill a clearomizer over this line, as it can cause the e-liquid to leak.
After the initial filling, leave your atomizer or clearomizer sitting for at least five minutes to allow the wick to get fully saturated with e-juice. It is also advisable to clean your electronic cigarette weekly. E-juice can drip into the area where the battery connects to the atomizer, also known as the 510 connection. When this happens, the e-juice can dry up and becomes gunk. This gunk can interfere with the power coursing from the battery to the atomizer. You don’t want a weak vape!
A weak flavor and/or reduced vapor production sign that your coil needs to be replaced. Another sign of a worn coil is a burnt taste when vaping. Coils need to be replaced every one to three weeks on average.
Batteries can also weaken over time. If you are a heavy user, expect your batteries to lose capacity after six months. To prolong the life of your e-cigarette batteries, it’s recommended to have at least two in the rotation. Having two will give you something to vape while the other charges. Most e-cigarette users (also called vapers) use them to simulate tobacco smoking. If you’re vape tastes burnt, the problem is in your cartridge or your vape tank. Burnt taste occurs when the cotton around the coil has served its purpose and is now too damaged to be used again. Generally, this means that it’s time to replace the coil (vape tank) or the entire cartridge. However, there are some tricks that you can try. If you’re vaping at a high temperature, try lowering it and see if the bad taste persists. Also, try using high PG (less viscous than high VG) vape juice. If that doesn’t do the trick but you’re still reluctant to throw away the cartridge, try cleaning it.
While further studies are needed (and underway), most scientists agree that vaping is not worse than smoking. Of course, inhaling anything other than pure air is not advisable and should be avoided, but most experts note that electronic cigarettes have a great harm reduction potential.
UK’s Royal College of Physicians notes that ‘vaping is unlikely to exceed 5% of the harm from smoking tobacco.
A more recent review of vaping studies conducted by The Cochrane Library concluded that no short-term adverse health effects are associated with using e-cigarettes. Another study (Polosa et al.) that lasted for 3.5 years and was published in 2017 came to the same conclusion. As of 2022, no deaths have been attributed to vaping, which cannot be said of smoking.
Vapes are not dangerous if proper precautions are taken with the battery. For example, do not use the battery with coils for which it was not designed, do not leave the device in the sun, and only use the vape as intended.
A vape is a broad term that describes all the devices mentioned above. E-cig refers to small cig-a-like devices like disposables and pens.
It is difficult to give a precise answer because each device and liquid is different. But it is safe to say that one cigarette is equal to around a dozen vapes, more or less.
E-cigarettes are generally safe if they are used in accordance with their instructions. Read the manual before operating the device, and there should be no problems.

Hi Larrie, thanks for writing to us, if you need help picking a starter device you chose the right person to write. If you are a complete beginner – never vaped – then something pre-filled, and air-activated would be the way to go. Pre-filled means using pods filled with e-juice that you pop into a device so you don’t have to worry about filling them again and again. Air-activated is when you inhale on the mouthpiece without having to press buttons. My personal favorite is the Phix. It is a pre-filled device and air-activated and has cool diamond-shaped mod. Because of the flavor ban, the pods only come with either tobacco flavor or menthol, which may be good for a beginner. Magnum Snaps are also good because they can come with empty cartridges so you can use your e-juice. They are also air-activated. I think your creating a society full of shit, that has no rhythm and belongs to no one. All the spectations that people place on yours truly are not enough to support the widespread of commotion that E-cigs have in this time and place that we live in.
The delivery of my last few orders have been very late, also I’ve bee having problems with the charging of the batteries. The batteries flash as if they need charging, but when I plug them in, and the charger indicates they are already charged. I have several chargers, but have the same problem.
I have also had very poor service from V2 . It used to be very good at sending orders quickly. Now my last few orders were “out of stock” and one came 2 months after it was ordered. I like the product , but the service is terrible.

V2 stopped selling to local shops and force the user to buy through their website. It’s more expensive than our local supplier and incredibly slow. We placed a regular order 2 weeks ago and it still hasn’t been fulfilled or shipped. Per the site they have 15 days just to fulfill and Mail unless you pay for the expensive 2 day shipping. So not only do they cost more they take their sweet time sending you the product. We’ve had our own issues with the product from bad batteries to bad tanks (only lasting a day). Would not recommend V2.

I love Vapour2. I have got Standard Kit already for a while and no cons for me. Like the design, easy usage and long lasting battery. It has also good choice of flavors. I have tried all of them but love chocolate one(probably because i am chocolate addict:-). Now i am on 1.2% intensity and may try to go even lower.

I’ve been using these things for years. Right now there are a bunch of really good devices, but the reviews never seem to address the issues I’ve had with devices before. The most important is atomizer life. I had a V2 device that I really liked, but at some point the manufacturing of the atomizers changed. What was a seven to ten day life became 24 hours. At that rate it became too expensive. Right now I have a pair of SMOK Stick TFV8 Big Baby Beasts. They were great until a couple of weeks ago when they started leaking like sieves. I’m guessing that has something to do with the atomizers because that is the only thing that changed. And that would be my second issue, leaking. Basically, I wouldn’t own the best unit on the planet if it costs $3 a day in atomizers and/or leaked. Thanks!!!
I am ready to switch from V2 as well. The quality of their products as diminish. Frequently products are back-ordered and take twice as long as they state to become available. When they do arrive, customer are not informed. You find out if you get your order or go online and ask. Terrible customer service. I agree with the shipping cost. I do a lot of mail order and most items arrive in 3 days from the east cost; with no shipping cost. If you pay for shipping with V2 you may get your order in 5 “business” days. Never 5 days. Mail order shoppers are well aware of how quickly items can arrive to them if properly expedited. I have had problems with the V2 EX coming apart as well as the Ceramic tanks. When unscrewing the tanks from the ecig the separate and the liquid spills out. The ceramic tanks get so hot that one cannot hold onto them. I had a very unsatisfactory online conversation with a rep recently and have now decided to make a report to the FDA about the inferior product and the danger of the overly hot ceramic tanks. I would not recommend this brand to anyone who desires and doesn’t mind paying a bit extra for professional customer service.
